At The Ladder School we provide a two-course meal daily, each lunchtime.
Lunches are provided by our on site Chef Mr N Jukes. He will work with the students to ensure they contribute to the menu choices available and ensure all students have a great experience at lunchtime.
Lunchtime is 30 minutes and students are expected to help out in their group by laying the table, serving drinks and clearing away their plates, when everyone has finished eating.
There is always a hot meal provided and a selection of fruit or yogurts for dessert.
We operate a fortnightly menu however some of the student’s favourites are available weekly.
Our family style dinging allows the student to sit with their Learning Coach and their peers at lunchtime. We encourage sensible discussion and use the time to informally educate students on topical issues.
If there are any dietary or allergy requirements, please ensure staff members are aware in advance of your child starting school.
At break time, toast, squash and an alternative (fruit/yogurts) are provided to ensure students have eaten during the morning session.
