At The Ladder School, we recognise that mainstream school does not suit all young people and we are here to offer a second chance. We work on a commissioning basis, which means that a school, or the Local Authority must approach The Ladder School to place a student.

I would like to welcome you on behalf of staff, students, governors and our Trust to The Ladder School.
We are an Alternative Provision Free School located in Walsall occupying a brand new fabulous building. We are becoming the “go to place” for Alternative Provision in the borough.
Our Mission
The Ladder School is a safe, well ordered and caring environment for learning. It delivers high quality education to all its students and supports them to develop their individual potential for growth, self-worth and self-control.
